Wall brackets with legs
Wall brackets are load-bearing steel structures used to support and transfer vertical loads from the formwork to the back wall in formwork facades. They are used where the masonry cannot be unloaded directly on the foundation or floor deck, e.g. at floor jumps, openings, facade projections and architectural details.
Load capacity
We produce wall brackets in documented load classes of:
8 kN
12 kN
The brackets are dimensioned based on the height of the masonry, its own weight and load combinations, as well as the load-bearing capacity of the back wall. The load values are documented and can be directly included in static calculations according to applicable standards.
Function
The wall brackets are designed to:
Absorb and transfer vertical compressive forces
Ensure stable support of the form
Enable adjustment during assembly so that construction tolerances can be compensated for
Allow controlled movement between the back wall and front wall to reduce stress and cracking
Materials and corrosion protection
The consoles are manufactured in:
Galvanized steel for standard exposure conditions
Stainless steel A4 for aggressive environments, including coastal areas and high corrosion class
Material selection is made according to applicable exposure classes (C2–C5) and the project's lifespan requirements.
Assembly
Wall brackets are mounted to the load-bearing rear wall with approved fasteners such as adhesive anchors or through-bolt anchors. Correct assembly and adjustment are essential for optimal load distribution and long-term function.
Documentation and standards
Our wall brackets:
Are CE marked
Supplied with documented load capacity
Complies with EN 845-1
Supplied with assembly and design instructions
Environment and sustainability
An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) has been prepared for the wall brackets with a focus on reducing the CO₂ footprint. The products are developed with optimized material consumption and production processes that contribute to lower environmental impact and support sustainable construction projects.
